Information: James graduated from University of Aberdeen in 1990. After completing his basic surgical training in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, he moved to Newcastle in 1994 to undertake his Urology specialist training. In 2001, James was appointed as Senior lecturer and Consultant Urological Surgeon in Aberdeen. He was then appointed as Professor of Urology in Aberdeen in 2006 and heads the Academic Urology Unit.
