The Directors of UCAN would like to invite you to a unique opportunity to view the future of surgery at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The surgical robot, which we are currently fundraising for, will be in Aberdeen for one day only on Thursday 24 November. You will have the opportunity to watch a demonstration and perhaps even try your hand at operating, obviously not on a patient, just the operation of the machine!

We would be delighted if you could join us at the Suttie Centre, Foresterhill Campus on Thursday 24 November any time between 10am and 12:30pm

RSVP to Gayle Stephen, UCAN Administrator by Monday 21 November on 01224 553104 or by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or by registering below.

The Suttie Centre for Teaching and Learning in Healthcare has been purpose-built on the Foresterhill campus. A collaboration between the University of Aberdeen and NHS Grampian, the centre has been supported by thousands of donations during an appeal which raised in excess of £6m - £1.5m over target. Donors to the appeal are recognised throughout the building but most noticeably on the donor panel at the entrance to the building.
