Casino and Ceilidh raises over £2300 for UCAN |
|
Ex UCAN patient Ronnie Kain together with his wife Irene and their family organised a fun filled Casino/Ceilidh/Disco night at the Caledonian Golf Club in Aberdeen on Friday 8th of June 2012. It was a great night and raffles and competitions throughout the evening insured a fantastic fundraising total. To further boost the total amount raised a friend's daughter, Rebecca Noble, ran the Edinburgh Half Marathon and donated her sponsorship money and various others who also generously made donations. The grand total was £2,322.93.
Many thanks to everyone who helped organise the event and donated their time and energy, the venue, the fabulous Andy Kain Scottish Dance Band who performed, and everyone who came and joined in the fun and helped support UCAN. Very special thanks to Ronnie, Irene and Rebecca.
