Dave Booth competed in the Baker Hughes 10km run on the 20th of May 2012.

 In his own words, I wanted to raise money for a wonderful charity that do amazing work in supporting and improving quality of life for people suffering from any form of Urological cancer. The Big Chief (my Granddad) sadly passed away because of this disease some years ago, and in his final months the UCAN team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary did everything they could to make sure his last days on this earth were as comfortable and happy as possible by supporting him not only medically but on a personal level as well”.

UCAN would like to thank Dave and all his very generous sponsors for their support in raising £330, which will help UCAN, achieve its aim of improving early detection, treatment and care for people affected by urological cancers in the North of Scotland.
