UCAN Awareness Drive Targets Motorists

Dripping Hosepipe

Nearly half a million motorists are to be targeted by UCAN as they park their cars on the streets of Aberdeen. UCAN’s  latest  awareness  raising drive will see the image of a man holding a dripping hose – a tongue-in-cheek take on a symptom of the onset of prostate cancer – featured on the back of 450,000 parking tickets throughout Aberdeen. The tickets will be placed in pay and display machines and will be visible to the driver when they stick their ticket inside their car. The image is the latest in a series of adverts which have been used to raise awareness of the four main urological cancers – kidney, prostate, testicular and bladder.
