Patrick Tawse has set himself a challenge, to cycle from Aberdeen to Edinburgh in a day.  The cycle is about 130+ miles when you avoid the motorway and dual carriageway.  The challenge takes place on Sunday 12 July.  Odfjell donated the bike Patrick will be using for the cycle, if you would like to help Patrick reach his target of £13,000 please visit his Justgiving page here.

Graeme Brown along with Norman McElween, Andrew Patterson, Maurice Bracken and Graeme King are heading off on 3rd July to complete the End to End challenge of 1000 miles in 24 hours.  The group are all members of the Lisburn IAM (Institute of Advanced Motoring) Motorbike group in Northern Ireland.  As well as raising lots of money for UCAN Graeme is going to try to qualify for the "Iron Butt", UK's End to End Certificate.  For more information or to sponsor the group log on to Graeme's Justgiving page here.

The UCAN Bungee Jump will take place on Sunday, July 19, at the 'Motorvation' Exhibition, being held at the Grampian Transport Museum in Alford, entries are open to any member of the public who is bold enough to take on the challenge.

Our very own Kate Synott will be taking the plunge and we are hoping to recruit a further 100 daredevils to ensure as much money as possible is raised to help UCAN in its vital work. Kate said "I am absolutely terrified but I can't ask anyone to do something I'm not prepared to do myself!" "Hopefully there are a lot of brave people in Aberdeen City and Shire who are willing to be dropped 300ft from a crane to help raise money for and awareness of urological cancers."
