UCAN Social Evening

Big Thanks to the UCAN team for a great social evening that was arranged on Wednesday 9th June .A good crowd of people attended the evening at the Trinity Hall on Holburn Street . We were given a tour of the Trinity Hall that is owned by Seven Incorporated Trades of Aberdeen.

I and my wife found the evening to be extremely informative. I think that the majority of the people that were in attendance including myself found that the information on the History of the Seven incorporated trades in Aberdeen dating back to the 12Th century utterly fascinating. It is surprising how much historic information is held in the Trinity Hall ,and the truly amazing antique furniture and painting that have been retained over the years some dating back to the original Trades buildings .

This was yet again a very successful Social Evening carried out by the UCAN team. We look forward to many more social evenings in the future. It was great to see so many people at the event and yet again we never managed to get round to speak to many people due to the very informative tour of Trinity Hall.

I think the Incorporated trades are also due a huge vote of thanks for the hospitality they provided in the shape of the food and tea and coffee available at the end of the tour .I wonder how many appreciated the lovely china in which it was served
