Hi Robert

Good to hear that you are enjoying life to the full, I am also considering early retirement, but I have a few things to do first. Knowing me I will be saying the same next year also.

All my friends who have retired say they have never been so happy and alarmingly so busy, their days just fly in.

All the best and enjoy the sun

Great to hear everything is going well and you are enjoying your early retirment.
Being a relative youngster i shall be a few years working before i even think of early retirment.I have just finished 4 weeks radiotherapy and was so pleased with the very
very friendly staff at the radiotherapy dept.

Just waiting for life to get back to normal or as normal as they can be anyway.

Take care and enjoy the sunshine while us poor people are stuck at work .

to let you all know how i am after my last radiotherapy treatment on 9th march this year i am feeling fine although bowels are still a wee bit dodgy at times and as i am still on zoladex implant my waistline has increased by 9 inches despite me walking 5 miles every day. hot flushes are a problem but never mind my wife and i are off to cornwall this weekend for a 9 day coach holliday so i should be glad for everything the hospital staff and doctors and ucan have done for me . i wish you all good luck. patchy.

I do find it very tiering some times even to do the smallest of thing like cutting the grass it can now take me up too or three days to do this (used to take a few hours)
I have not forgoten you all at ward 44 (ucan center) i will get in to see you sometime

We know it to well Robert . Best thing is i have now got the wife to help with the grass etc. Altough i am still stuborn and want to do these things myself. She has even painted the hall and kitchen which has been a great help as it would have taken me more time to think about tackling it.(Better watch what i say as she will read this and belt me) He He  Well as Chris Norton once said to me it is better being tired than the alternative .

Take care
